The beginnings of my new force of Germans. The three riflemen were painted in the classic 3 step 'Foundry style', which I am slowly getting better at. The colour of the uniforms is probably a little light but I have to admit that, at the moment, matching exact shades is not a major concern, its more about getting a well painted mini with the right feel.
The NCO is painted in more detail, using blending, as befits a leader! (Some GW habits are hard to kill, I guess). I'm very happy with this figure, although I have to admit that I was originally going to add a camo pattern to the jacket, then lost my nerve when it turned out so well!
